The ASR should kick in anytime the system senses the wheels are spinning. Are you saying that the system does not activate even when stomping on the throttle with the wheels spinning?
I do not believe you will damage any components driving a non-functioning ASR system.

Part number is 000 141 94 25
Same one went in as came out.... Also, when I said traction control switch I meant the tire chain switch. ![]() ![]() Yes, I got the tires spinning a few times and never saw the usual warning light go on (and the car never seemed to slow). Gosh it's a fun car to drive!!! Maybe I'll hold on to it afterall.... Seriously, now that I've replaced the harness and the ETA, are there any other big ticket items that are common?
