94 E320 Sedan rear view mirror

Fell apart on me today..need to know if this is an easy fix and how to access the mount. The actual plastic housing cracked so I need to attach to the console. Any help...??

you're referring to the interior rear view mirror? Its held in by a spring loaded device. To remove the mirror you simply pull down and to the left or right - you'll have to pull pretty hard on it.

The housing cracked apart and I have springs and clips all over the car. Now it just rattles around when I drive. The actual piece that connects to the overhead console is very tight and doesn't budge. Are there any set screws I should be aware of? I do not see any allen screws or anything holding the mirror in place....
