87 560 SL EHA Valve

I just replaced the EHA valve on 87 560 SL - it had a rough idle.
I have been advised that when one replaces the EHA, you have to "rebalance the fuel system" can someone advise on what that means?
I have a new cap/rotor/wires on order - so would rather not make any adjustments to mixture until I install those items.

One more thing....I have been reading about dielectric grease....do I need to use that on the new rotor/cap/wires? It appears that the grease is model and year specific.

Thanks
