Not all M103 engines have an EGR valve.

I have a 1989 300TE with the venerable M103 engine and it has no EGR.

I have a 1991 300CE with the M104 engine (early version) and it does have an EGR valve.

If yours does not have one, consider yourself fortunate. One less part to replace.

And kudos to Texholdem for takign the time to take and post pictures and then identifying common parts.

That was pretty cool.
