This might be a really crazy idea, but about 25 years ago, I rebuilt a 4 cylinder engine from a british car. I had the crank journals done, and when I got the crank back, the pilot bushing was gone. (I was about 17 years old at the time and had no idea what I was doing.....) Anyway, to make a long story short, I ended up getting a machine shop to turn a bushing from a piece of oil impregnated brass. Believe it or not, I put everything back together and it worked for years. My guess is that this isn't done anymore but......

i ordered it, it will be in in the morning, i will check the dimentions. mercedes epc shows an eniterly different bearing for center support, likely the supplier arthur referenced is in error. they may have their mercedes numbers crossed lol. i get the same picture from my supplier, the center support bearing has a much larger inner section.

That may just be , b/c here is another supplier that does list it as a pilot bearing.. plug that part# in here and it comes up as pilot...

Check out the different 6202 series and pick the one that you like for your app. .....as CH has pointed out..should be able to get that at any local bearing wholesale place...
