I've got to replace the driver's door strap on the wife's 300TE. I've done two other doors. The last two check straps came in a plastic "sleeve" which looks to like it's there to help keep out grunge. I've already installed one without the sleeve since the old check strap didn't have one.
SO - to the point - are the straps supposed to be installed with the plastic sleeve? THANKS Brian 89 300TE 84 733i |
