Sunroof headliner problem
I have a 1999 C 230 kompressor with a glass sunroof and internal shade/blind to block the sun.
The trim is coming away from the inside - see photo. Note that it is not only away from the plastic grills, but it also appears to be separated from the foam further forward. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there an easy solution? What type of glue should I use to stick it back? and should I try to replace the foam at the same time (as it seems to be falling to bits) any help or suggestions welcome many thanks Tex |

I would have a GOOD upholstery shop repair that. Easy to remove & take it to them.

Thanks for this. I am only just getting round to this, and I can't get it off.
Any suggestions on how to get the shade off/out? Its not rocket science, and I think I'm a pretty clever guy (ok, average), but I just can't see how to get it out. Please all you MB trained guys, whats the trick to this?? thanks |

You need to remove the sunroof glass, and then slide the shade forward, there are 4 clips to remove, and then lift out through the top.
