While replacing the interior of my 1969 280 SEL I used the seats from a 1972 model which fit perfectly but with one problem. It feels like the seat is tilted forward a bit much and that you're slowly sliding forward. I'd like to get the seat to tilt back a little, does anyone know if there's an adjustment for this? Will I have to use shims? Say it ain't so.
