1999 E320 Battery

I did something stupid last night when I left the lights on in this car and now it will not crank. How do you remove the rear seat to get to the battery to jump it off?? I cannot figure out how to do it. Thanks very much!!!!!

Two tabs, one at each front corner. Click them and remove the seat.

To jump start, there is a terminal under the hood at the left rear (just in front of the fuse box).

See your owner's manual about jump starting this car.

1999 E320 battery

Okay Matt L, you have my attention. How do I go about jump starting with only one connection. I have read the book about jump starting and it seems to be the same as all others. Am I missing something here??

You should never connect all four terminals directly to battery terminals anyway.

So you do what you would do even if the battery were under the hood: connect the negative lead to the engine.
