PSE Pump main functions

Guys, the subject is a 2001 E320. The problem occurs like this:

After 18 hours or so, the passenger side seat switch, electronic mirror, and window motor, no longer function. Essentially the passenger side quarter is dead.

After more time has passed, all of the quarters become dead.

And lastly, after yet more time, the combination stalk fails: The wipers stop working, the blinkers are dead, etc.

Question: Does the PSE Pump control all of these functions?

Another question: Does a PSE Pump have to be coded for a specific car?

Thanks in advance.

The PSE pump does not control all of those functions but it does need to be version coded acording to specific models/equipment.

Concerning your cars' problem, it sounds like the R/F Door Control Module is the first piece of the puzzle. Since there are too many scenarios to explain, you may want to consider having the fault codes checked while the problem is occurring. If one control module on the inteior network (CAN) fails, it can affect many other electrical functions.

Of course, check the battery first. Bad batteries can cause a variety of electrical malfunctions, especially on networked MB's.

OK...Sorry for taking a really long time to respond.

But, its been proven it ain't the door control modules (any of them), the PSE pump, or whatever. There is the N10 control module, but I also noticed that the ignition had been replaced recently in this thing. Now....Could the ignition key switch, if not properly coded into the system, be a possible cause of the domino effect of the CAN? Someone also suggested a faulty key?

I'm deeply grateful for your help. I will keep a more frequent log of the issues.

Sounds like the interior CAN is going down.

I would still think that 1 of the DCM's are the problem.
Testing the CAN connector voltages is the best starting point for that problem.
