Exclamation 190E won't start

Hey all, I own a 240D but my dad brought home a 1985 Manuel 190E. It was driving great and I was enjoying the shifting :p until I turned a corner and it just died.. I thought it was my fault with the clutch or something so I went to start her up and nothing. The engine is cranking just fine but just not turning over. Something similar happened to me with my 300E one morning as I let it warm up.

About a minute into the warm up it just died, again, cranking just fine but not turning over. It ended up being a relay. My dad sprayed some ethanol and it started but would not stay on.. could this be that relay? Or are we talking a whole different set-up? Thanks!
