W202 Hub or Hub and Spindle Replacement?

I have a stripped Rear DS lug hole on my 1994 C280 with 197,2XXmi and am looking for a hub or hub and spindle assembly from salvage. I need to get the car aligned anyway. What is the best path? If hub swapping is doable, how hard is it to replace wheel bearings without a press? Thanks. Michael

Have you tried having the stripped hole repaired? Either a "time-sert" or a weld & then re-threaded?

Thanks MB Doc. I would gladly take it to a machine shop to have it retapped, but in my experience, it is better to bring the part to the machine shop then the car. Are the hubs difficult to remove? Do I need to remove the spindles as well?

How do you swap just a hub? I am sure I can figure it out but would prefer some direction. Any instructions would be most helpful. Thanks. Michael

To swap the hub you will ruin the wheel bearing SO have a new one ready.

Also removing the complete assembly is required to press out the hub & bearing.
