W220/C215 inst cluster recall & extended warranty
MB finally issued that recall yesterday! IF you have no back lighting OR have paid to fix that problem MB has to step up to the pump & fix them...
Recall number 2006080004, Sept 2003 Recall Affects some 2000-2002 & some 2004-05 Extended warranty covers all others. Both W220 & C215 cars. Starting November 17, 2006 Mercedes is including ALL of the 2000 & later W220 & C215 chassis instruments to a 10 year unlimited mileage warranty! They will reimburse for previously replaced clusters!
