there is no thermal timer on your car. that's an old term for the switch used to fire the cold start injector on the early k-jet cars. timer because it would only allow 10-50 seconds of injector before the thermal side heated up and shut off the voltage to the injector. i assume you mean coolant temp switch, off which there are 3. engine temp, cooling fan on/off and injection. be nice to know where on the motor the switch your are testing is located. good luck, chuck.
