300e leaning out under part throttle

Hi Guys,
My 300e has developed a problem with the fuel injection. At part throttle and under load, it leans out considerably, and feels like the fuel is cutting off. No pinging, and if you floor it, it revives with full power. So far I've replaced the coil, OVP, and fuel pump relay, and disconnected the EHA electrical connector, no change. The car has an Air/fuel gauge, so I can monitor the a/f ratio, and it is getting up to 19:1 plus. It is turbocharged, but this problem appears to be the stock fuel injection and irrespective of the turbos. Anyone have any ideas on what could cause a part throttle lean condition in the MB fuel injection?
Thanks
Scott
