Manual to power windows conversion
Hi
I was thinking about converting my newly restored 77 Euro 350SLC from manual to power windows and i was wondering if i have to replace the window regulators to use with the motors i have to buy. Thanks Yuri, NJ 77 Euro 350SLC

boy thats gonna be some job that wiring has got to be a nightmare by itself

Hmm
I am worried mostly about the mechanics of the conversion.
How hard can it be to wire 2 motors and two switches to two unused spots on the fuse box? If things we hairy i will grab some unswiched power from my stereo and get a separate fuse box for the motors.. This is aint brain surgery y'know! Last edited by yuri777; 10-07-2001 at 01:09 PM.

Pick up a copy of "Street Rodder" or "Car Craft" magazine and you'll find many, many ads. for electric window conversions for street rods that should have application to your project. Not a pristine MB solution but it's used in some really nice rods.
