1984 190e 2.3 Vacuum Help Needed!
Hey Guys,
I have been sorting out a rough idle on my 1984 190e for some time. I need to pretty much redo the entire vacuum system due to someone carelessly hooking it up. Heres where I get lost, my diagram shows a 50 degree and 60 degree thermovalve. One is located near the top of the motor by the coolant sensors (the red 50 degree one I believe) However I cannot find the white 60 degree valve anywhere! Does anyone know where this is located on my motor? It's the only connection I cannot seem to find anywhere. I have looked at numerous diagrams and the factory service manual and I cannot seem to locate it. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Is it possible that the valve got removed and bypassed by a careless person?

Well I still don't know where it would be on the engine to check. Does anybody know the location of this component?

Hey Guys,
I'm gonna re-do all vac lines this afternoon. Can anyone shed some light on my problem? I know someone here has to have an 84-86!

Ok so since nobody seems to know the location of this valve and I cannot find it anywhere on my engine I decided to bypass it. I ran into another problem, it appears I am missing a vacuum line! Can anyone tell me where the line coming out of component 3 (check valve with integrated restrictor) is suppose to connect to the intake manifold?
I have one port that is currently plugged, but I believe that is for the transmission vacuum hookup and my car is a manual so no vac lines running to trans. I do have a port near the firewall, but it is connected to the vacuum hose that runs up through the firewall and into the cabin. Any help is appreciated, getting desperate here!
