				selector lever removal

Hello out there! Can anyone give me the step by step for removing the transmission gear selector lever on the center console. I want to replace some of the window switches on my 1990 420 SEL. I have the pocedure down for the removal of the center peice but not the selector lever so I can take the center peice out and work on it. Thanks |

You don't need to remove the shifter to service window switches. Just lift the wood off using proper procedures.

Be careful, there's a piece of wood on the center console near the ashtray that likes to break off or come unglued from the main wooden piece.
