Red face Help !!! Flashing Triangle on Dash

I need some help from the site, I recently purchased a 98 MB E320 with 151k mi on it. It was Cpo untill last year so most of the Maint has been done.
But any way, yesterday getting on the expressway in California at about 60 mph I got a flashing Triangle on the dash and the car seemed to lose power when the triangle stop flashing the car seems to be fine.

Also when the cruise is set sometimes it will just kick off (cruise) But the flashing triangle does not flash when the cruise stops.

Any Ideas????

I do know that there are smaller tires on the back (205/55/16) compared to the fronts (215/55/16) if that makes a difference.

You need to get the same tires. With smaller tires on the back, the front tires are rotating slower than the rear tires. The speed sensors feeds wheels speeds to the system, which thinks the front tires are slipping so the traction control system is trying to solve a problem it cannot handle.

The flashing triangle is the traction control warning.

To add to this correct post, one also has to match tire air pressure on all 4 tires for the same reason.
The computer is looking at rolling circumference comparisons. And the faster you go, the variation is lengthened beyond the computers lee-way.
See this a lot where the triggering fault is simply a low air pressure tire....

Computer Detected wheel rpm speed discrepiency.
