Aircondition problem

I am having a problem with my aircondition on the 190 2.5d.

Last year I went to a A/C shop because the system lost all the refrigerant. He told me that there is a leak in the compressor shaft, and he is going to order a seal for me,because he don't have in stock. The compressor is nippondenso 10p15c.
After 9 months waiting for the seal and always saying that he ordered it I decided to start doing some research on the net about it and I found a company from USA that have the seals I need and I ordered them.

I changed the seal and installed the compressor back and it seems that there is no leak in the system because I put the system on vacuum and it hold the vacuum for over a night.I charged the system (it was converted to r134a few years ago)with r134a.I charged the system with 800grs r134a,because with r12 the system can have 992grms.

The problem I have is the aircondition is still not blowing cold air,the minimum tempreture that I am getting from the vents is 16 degrees celsius, which is not good.

The pressures are approximently 250psi and 40psi

I can't understand what's wrong with this if some one can help me I will epriciate. Is the system over charged with 800grms?Or I have a bad drier because it stayed long time without refrigerant?

If you run the blower but disconnect the compressor, is the vent output hot? Possible that the monovalve is not interrupting flow of coolant through the heater core...

I have a 1990 190E 2.6 and my ac blew out hot air from the defroster and side vents bec my valve was not working. not sure if the cars or the same in design, but what i did was take the valve out and manully pulled the tab to close it, then i tried to blow water through it while i held it shut...the wwater went right through it, so what i did was take to pennies and taped them over both sides of the valve with double sided tape to the back of the pennies and placed it on the opening (its a perfect fit), then i secured that with electrical tape, so that coolant didnt pass through it. a/c works fine and i noticed at least a 95% difference in coolness without the heater blowing the same time as the ac. only 95% difference bec its summer where i live at now and the temp is always like 115-120 degrees and the blk leather and blk exterior never cool down 100%

Hi thanks all for your reply,
I monitered the tempreture and when I switched the ac at idle I am getting 19-20 degrees C and when I drive the car I am getting around 16 degrees C at the vents.
When I switched off the ac I am getting around 24 Degrees C.Here in Malta we have very hot summer sometimes it goes to 41.

To be honest I don't know where is this mono valve or how I can check it.

Some thing strange is that the front fan is working, the sucktion line is very cold but I am not getting cold at the vents.I think that the compressor is doing it's job because the gauges are reading 40 low and 250 at the high side.

I put 8oz ester oil in the system which I read it's good for both r12 and r134a.

When I have the ac switched off the readings are totally different the low side is very high and the high side is low,is this something wrong with the compressor?

Thanks all for your time and helpfull information.
