Arthur Dalton?

I've been reading this forum for a few years now, I always appreciated posts by Arthur Dalton. I haven't seen a post from him in about a month, anybody know if something happened to him?

Hopefully all is well with him.

I don't know either. I tried sending him an email about a week or so ago, no response (yet).

Hopefully he's just taking a break.

I've had many such thoughts over the years when frequent posters disappear. I always first pray that nothing serious happened to them or in their lives, then I just watch for them and hope to see them again. Usually, when a month goes by, they're gone for good. A few have come back after a long time, but usually they just disappear, hopefully only to do other things and not due to a bad twist in life.

Gents,

Thank for so many concerns..

The reason for my last posting on this Forum being 8/18/09 is b/c that was my Tenth Year date [ 8/18/99 - 8/18/09 ].
I had mentioned in some of my post for the last few months that I would be leaving when I got to either 10,000 post or my Tenth Year date, whichever came first.
So, I thought most were aware of those plans...guess I should have left an Exit Post on 8/18....

Anyway, A Decade here has been enough for me , and most of my last couple years post were just repeats of Archieves info ... so I have moved on to a new [ and completely different] Venue.

Anyway...Many thanks to all , and specially to the orignators of the Forum.
Seems like yesterday that most of us Vets all came over here from Alt.Autos.Mercedes. Times change , new people come , the Forum continues...........

Welcome back, for the moment. Wish you were staying, ... you can still make the 10k post goal, ...

You will be missed.

Thank you for the ten years, though I have only been on this board about a year and a half. The help you have provided, both in person and the archives has been invaluable.
You are a gentleman and a scholar, I trust time will treat you well.
