OVP Relay Part #
('92 201 2.3)
I need a new OVP Relay. Mine has 7 pins & one fuse: Part # 201 540 32 45. The new relays I see listed for my car have 9 pins & 2 fuses: Part # 201 540 37 45. There are empty holes in the harness for the extra two pins -- so it will fit. I just want to confirm that the new part is compatible. Thanks in advance.

As the years went past M.B. improved and modified the design of the OVP and the FPR. It also fits multiple models.
The relay is correct. |

when i replaced mine on my 300ce it had the same number of pins, but mine came with 2 10 amp fuses on top, same as the stock one.it should work as long as your part number matches or you ordered the correct year and chassis number, ive noticed over the years mercedes has change the appearence of some relays and switches, but odd years will still work in different applications,as long as the pin count matches up.
