1992 190E 2.6 - difference between CA & 49 state versions?
Hello:
I'm looking at a 1992 190E 2.6 California car for sale in Canada. It appears to have been legally imported, looks sharp, and I am interested. However, I have a concern and that is because it is a CA version whereas MB cars destined for Canada were, for all I know, largely similar to the 49 state version. Therefore, two questions: 1) What are the differences between CA and the 49 state version? I read that the ECU and the on-board diagnostics (OBD) are different. Any other differences? 2) Does this difference make servicing any more difficult especially in Canada? Anybody in Canada speak to this issue? Is this a non-issue or do the differences cause difficulties? Again, many thanks, Paul
