04 S320CDi noise from right hand rear side
Hello everyone
My Dad is having a couple of problems with his 2004 S320CDi. Firstly, when he turns left, there is a noise coming from the right hand rear side of the car. It's a kind of squeaking, but it's not a constant noise, it is on off on off etc. I was wondering if it was some kind of fuel pump on the way out? Also, under acceleration (even normal acceleration), the car seems to judder. Last year an intercooler hose was replaced after that popped off and I was wondering if it hasn't been attached correctly. I'm not sure when the turbo kicks in, but the juddering is present even at a low RPM. We are taking the car to the dealer, but hopefully someone here will have an idea of what the problem is. Thanks in advance Ollie

Just an update, the car has come back from the dealer. They have fixed the juddering under acceleration, it was the intercooler hose not attached properly.
They can also hear the noise from the rear when turning left, but they don't know what it is. This is a main Mercedes dealer, so I was quite surprised that they couldn't find a fault. Does anyone here have any ideas? Thanks again Ollie

I'm mechanics said they checked the wheel bearings, so it's still a mystery!
Thanks Ollie
