I recently totaled my CLK500 and bought a M5 on ebay. I have never bought a car on the internet and am a bit skeptical that this guy might be trying to rip me off. He sounds too good to be true below is his latest email. His name is Gordon Wilson but when I spoke to him over the phone he had a very thick accent. Here is the email he sent me:

Hi Bobby,
We just spoke on the phone.
I bought the car almost 2 years ago from a individual seller. The vehicle has 24950 miles. The car is in excellent condition, no damages or scratches, no paintwork or body work, non smoker. Tires are new. There is no lien on the car. The title is clear and I'm the 3rd owner. The car is currently only under extended BMW warranty until 2012 or 50K miles. The car runs and drives excellent.
As I said I want to use Escrow to make a safe transaction because Escrow is recommended by Ebay. Check their link to see:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/escrow.html
I will deliver the car to your place and give you 5-7 days for inspection. I will pay the shipping cost and the escrow fees. If you don't want to buy the car after inspection period ends then I will find other buyer in your area and you will have no obligation regarding anything. If you want me to set up the transaction with Escrow then send me an email or give me a call.
Thank you,
Gordon
