The fuel pumps run after shutting the car off. I opened the hood and tapped on one of the black boxed behind the battery and it went off. Do you think I need a new Fuel pump relay? If i dont do anything, the pumps eventually stop.

Please advise.

Most likely the fuel pump relay.

Green "cube" relay behind the battery.

Thanks Doc for the reply. What confuses me is that I was tapping on what appeared to be a long rectangular relay box on the left behind the computers. It didnt look like the cube shaped relay in the pics. None the less, its cheap insurance to replace that relay. Does the fuel pump relay look like the OVP with a plastic see thru top and a fuse?

Replaced the fuel pump relay and its fixed. I took the green cover off the old one, and it was all rusted out in there.
