I had a new wiper motor put in because after changing the combination relay, the wipers would stop anywhere but where they are suppossed to on the windshield. I got a new motor, had it put in, and the wipers now stop at the bottom of the windshield, but won't park or go down so you can't see them. The mechanic has no clue as to why, and said he tried 3 times to get it right but just doesn't know how. He's normally pretty good.

When I turn on the wipers, they first go down out of sight to the park position and then begin their wiper action and otherwise function normally. However, once they are shut off, they only go to the bottom of the windshield(sticking up into view), but not down out of sight to the park position.
How do I fix this myself, or get the information so my mechanic can fix them without going to the dealer $$$? I've searched the forums adn can find nothing.
