W203 C240 WARNING CHECK OIL LEVER VISIT WORKSHOP?

I get that message in RED everytime I start my car since I have bought it. I had it serviced and the correct amount of oil added according to the manual. The last service I replaced the oil level sending unit in the bottom of the oil pan. The replacement did nothing. I have a couple questions, the connector at the sending unit is a three wire connector with which I only have juice on one of the wires is that correct? Also does anyone know if I could have fixed the problem with the new sending unit and just simply need to have that warning light erased out of my cars computer @ the dealer? Thanks
