M103 cam, rockers and cam tower install

Hi I know this a very old thread but I managed to strip 6 out of 24 can bearing bolts. Upon pulling them out they had the old thread inserts on the end of the bolt. Can I put another thread insert into the same bolt hole? The car is '88 300CE with m103.983 motor.
