Would the crank sensor cause a CEL?
K40 relay? In the black box near the firewall under the hood on passenger side. Check the fuses on top of it, then unplug the 2-3 giant multi-connector plugs and replug (may cure an intermittent connection). It controls many functions, from starter to wipers, and it's essentially a bunch of relays in one expensive lump. Never have figured out why they chose to do it that way but i'm sure there is a reason.
