Location of Electric window diode
Hi All
My electric windows stopped working. I found they work with the doors open and this is to do with the little switch on the door pillar (they stop again when I press the switch, always wondered why there were 2 switches there!!). Following the Haynes wiring diagram the only other suspect items in the circuit are the relay and a diode. Can anyone tell me where the relay and diode are located? All fuses are fine. Car is 1987 300D, 124 type. Thanks in advance ![]() |

ON USA models the power Seats have a diode that allows operation with the key on OR door open with key off, BUT the windows here(USA) can't be operated with the key off.
