Power Loss After Start Up

This message is for Gilly.

Now that I can start my 300SDL, I have another question. When I first start the car it seems to be sluggish for several minutes and the engine just doesn't seem to rev up - the temperature was 45 degrees this morning and it still did it. After driving the car for several minutes, the car seems to warm up and the engine delivers more power. What do you think?
