Question upper cam and timming chain cover 190E 2.6

I need info on the cam cover for my wifes 190E, the parts arived and it came with two Orings. I do not know where they go. now on the lower left of the case, the bolt hole has one side with a very large hole and the other side is drilled for the bolt to fit in loosly. the Orings do not fit the large hole they just fall in. the block side looks as though it has a steel sleave threded for the bolt. some one give me some info on this please.

It's been awhile since I have did one, but if I remember correctly. Mercedes wants the pipe disconnected to remove the cover. It is not necessary to do it, although is makes it easier. The o-ring could be for it. They only call for one o-ring. A must do is replace the cam cover gaskets and seals. You might think it won't leak, but it will. Just give it a little time. The other seal is the big o-ring for the dist. cover.

I dont know what the o rings are for, you need the rubber gasket that goes in that grove on the bottom. you have to get a sealent that goes around the outside flat surface of the cover.

Make sure to follow the DIY for the timing cover seal on this site at the top so it won't leak at a later date.
