upper cam and timming chain cover 190E 2.6

I need info on the cam cover for my wifes 190E, the parts arived and it came with two Orings. I do not know where they go. now on the lower left of the case, the bolt hole has one side with a very large hole and the other side is drilled for the bolt to fit in loosly. the Orings do not fit the large hole they just fall in. the block side looks as though it has a steel sleave threded for the bolt. some one give me some info on this please.
