MB 2003 E 240 Ignition key outer cover replacement
What is the process to replace the outer cover on the ignition smart key.
I have a new replacement cover, I can remove the battery connections ok but I am a bit worried about removeing the other electrics. Any clues would be appreciated. baz

it would help to know which key you have. smartkeys came in 4 varieties. post pic

ah yes, looks like the older, gen1 model. largest circuit board of all the Smartkeys
