I have a 1991 mercedes 300e 3.0Lt. Need know how to find out why my check engine light is on , dont know where yo start pls. Help!

Start off by doing a search. Your light is on because there is a fault code stored on your ecu. I posted a list of check engine light codes here on the forum. Check the sticky and the beginning of the threads.
