It is frightening. I just made a very valiant attempt to get all German front end parts for my BMW. Fingers crossed etc.
Makes me wonder what's in new cars? Are they using "Uro" style parts in their front ends, bearings, etc...?

I don't think new cars use parts that poor quality. The car companies are conscious of class action lawsuits.

Yes, I am sure the purveyors of this junk are laughing all the way to the bank. The anecdote shared from an alleged "insider" at this thread also lends credence to this theory of poor ethics in the aftermarket parts industry.
Sad commentary on our society. Sadder commentary that people continue to buy this stuff, often despite knowing it's junk and they will be replacing it sooner than later. |
