Front End Clunk When Turning

Had a good clunk especially when turning or on certain bumps in the road. Even at low speed. Found torsion bar support broken into parts, it wiggled when I grabbed it. Simple fix, about $8 for Uro part from the Rock. And of course, I noticed now a bushing is wobbling about. Should have ordered those at the same time....

yeh ...kind of scary when that bracket breaks... i have replaced a couple of them on two different 124's.... that brackets isn't the most stout of pieces.

also as you know that's easy rubber to replace

Guyton, in case you haven't read the thread about URO door seals check it out. The general consensus is URO parts are "inferior" to be polite. You may be better off getting used replacement OEM torsion bar brackets from a MB vehicle at a local salvage yard.

+1

Both of my URO brackets broke within six months of installation. Went to pick and pull to get used original OEM brackets!
