I hate to be redundant, having asked on the Diesel sub-forum, but perhaps some gas burners don't look there?

I intend to upgrade the headlamps on my 87 S124. I would like to run 100 Watt high beams. Has anyone actually tried 100 Watt high beams on Depo Euro lights for an extended period? Gummysource on Ebay says to use stock but I get the impression that he is reading what someone else wrote. I also asked him about the installation regarding the wiper/washer sytem and his response was
" We don't know what modifications are involved, we ONLY know that our headlights DO NOT fit over the model that has WASHER system originally equipped. Thank you".
I would think that he should know, since he sells them. Do any of you know what modifications are needed?
I have no issues with wiring and installing a relay system, drilling holes or grinding to clear washer hoses, etc, or the legality of my chosen high beams as I live in a forest with lots of deer. Thanks,
