1991 300E 4matic brake problems.

I have had my 300e in the garage for the last few years, as I have not needed to drive it.

Now I want to get it back on the road, and while working on the brakes I broke off the bleed screw and it is jacked beyond repair. Long story short I have ordered 3 different passenger side calipers from 3 different sources and they have all been wrong. This last one looks like it may be for a non 4matic car, but the point where the brake line connects is facing down and the brake line is at the top.

Would it be ok if I just went and got a longer brake line made and installed it?

I know it is not ideal, but I am at a loss.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah. Thats what I figured. Any good sources for the calipers?

Its pretty frustrating. If anybody needs a driver side caliper, I have two.

I know you said the old one is beyond repair, but I broke a bleeder nipple in an old caliper and had success getting it out by heating it, not super hot, with a propane torch, then using reverse drill bits of increasing size which were easy to use because of the hole in the bleeder nipple. I've you've already broken an easy-out in the nipple, that's different, but you could probably still get it out with a dremel and a carbide bit.
