Scored a ducktail for my 300e
Scored an used ducktail spoiler for my 300e. Unfortunately the junkyard cracked and chipped one of the end caps during removal. They actually cutoff the metal to avoid breaking it further. Its still in transit, so I'm not exactly sure if its salvageable or not. I hope so.
Appears to be an original AMG foam core piece. It has the AMG badge to the left and chrome star in the middle. I think it kind of looks tacky, and I was hoping to debadge my car. But since it is original AMG, I am inclined to leave it be. |

Finally arrived. Got the other end cap off, in two pieces. The first end cap had glue evenly all around the edges, and the one that broke had all the glue in one spot. Grrr. I'll leave it to the body shop to decide how to glue/epoxy it back together. I'll probably keep the AMG badge and ditch the star.
Best part is I only paid $140 with shipping. Christmas came early. |

Hopefully it came off of a sedan as the coupe ducktail is slightly different.
