It turned out the MAIN wire for the starter was BURNT OUT

I had to buy a 6gau copper wire from home depot and run it for the starter and the starter has been fine since

Hey, dude. Jump starting a car is actually not so easy, maybe you're doing something wrong ? I had a similar issue, and the jump starting has actually saved me. I have replaced the battery and the problem was solved. I recommend you to check out this site otopartshop.com, you can find a very detailed guide on how to jump start a car. Maybe it's going to help you. It worked for me, so, I hope that it's going to be useful for you too.
