Clip was installed easily

As I recall the clip was installed easily using needle nose or channel lock pliers. I remember that I took great care to cover any openings in case I dropped it.

I was actually wondering about how tight of a fit the plate was going onto the master link. Did you have to press it on somehow or did it slide right on.

I don't recall it being that difficult. I do remember that I positioned the two chain ends on a gear sprocket and that gave me more stable work area.
