Installed the new flex disk today. The ones I removed were on the car when I got it 14 years and about 90K miles ago so I don't know how old they are. The old ones are the same as the new ones, SGF. If they lasted for more than 14 years and 90K miles than they should be good. One thing I learned. You can't tell the condition of the disk until you get them off and can see both sides. I was worried about the front disk that I could see 2 small cracks on. The rear looked good. With them off, the front only had the 2 small cracks but the rear was really bad on one side only, the side you couldn't see until you got it off.
It took me about 2 hours to do both and that was on ramps and jack stands. At 72 years old, I almost broke my arm trying to pat myself on my back.
