95 E320 stalls on hard right turn
1995 e320 wagon. 245k miles. CEL on for egr(partially clogged tube, egr tests fine) and more recently Code 25 for knock sensor. I replaced the cam sensor but that code come back after a few weeks. Car runs very well, but every few weeks the engine will cut out completely when turning right quickly. FYI the car has updated wiring harness and throttle body. Also has new fuel filter and pumps. Any ideas what could be causing this?

I had a 2001 Ford Ranger that would stall only when making a hard right-hand turn going down hill. NEVER found the issue, but I suspect it was electrical of some sort.

I had it on a hard right turn on a Volkswagon diesel. In my case it turned out to be a crack in the water separator near the fuel tank. Odd I know and it did take me some time to locate this. Reasonable radius turn all was fine. More aggressive and the engine quit.
Anyways I would attach a fuel pressure gauge to the system as there is provision for that provided. Making it visable from the drivers seat. And watch for fuel pressure dropping off when you turn sharply. No ideal if this is really your issue. But at least you would know you have to look in a specific area then. Or it does not apply. I almost never post or follow this section of the site. I just saw the issue and remembered it was a little painful to find originally . Mostly because there was little logic in how that crack in my case could do this. |

I am having the same issue. A while back the car would stall randomly for no reason. Opened up the fuel pump relay and found several cold solder joints. I re-soldered them and the problem almost went away. Every now and then the car will cut off but now only on hard right turns just like the OP.
In my case the KLIMA relay for the AC has been bypassed so I wonder if the computer is not getting a signal to increase the idle. |

Does this happen independent of the fuel tank level?
