W210 E300 D/S Upper Control Arm
How does this freaking thing come out?!
![]() Bolt side is obvious; how do you guys get to the nut? The WIS? indicates a little knockout and to access from the wheel. Do I have to cut that out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I haven't looked at these. The upper arm is same as 95 - 00 C220 C230 C280 ( W202 ) if that helps at all.

IIRC.... there is a rubber plug in the wheel well that is rubber coated over. Remove that plug and you should have access.

I see a metal plug where I believe that cutout should be.

look with a flashlight, you will see the nut in the cavity ahead of the fuse block, you will need a long handle 16mm to hold that nut steady as you loosen the bolthead.
the passenger side is a bit more involved as you need to work with the "electronic box" there. I use the rat trap glue to hold the nut on the wrench to install it.
