Gone as in no friction material left, just some bent rivets. They didn't seem to damage either surface though. There was some clutch material pieces scattered around the bell housing.

And false alarm about the flywheel. I sent it off to a machine shop and they found the amount of play is with limits and resurfaced it (the surface was cooked) for $100..

You can also try DMF081 1120301305. Cheaper and more readily available.
