'02 E320 WAGON FUEL SYS REHAB NOW NO START
'02 E320 Wagon (W210). Approx 150,000 miles. Very well maintained. A few warts courtesy of the PO spring up every now and then.....like this one
The big metal line fuel line in the back of the car sprung a leak. Decided to do a fuel system rehab and replaced all the hoses, the fuel pump, and fuel filter. Took the car off the rack, turned the key, the display lights up, but nothing. No crank, no noises.
Left it sit over night with one of the battery cables unhooked. Thought it might reset itself. Turned the key again this morning, display lights up, but no crank.
Did we miss some type of reset on the fuel system upon replacing the various parts?
Parts Info. All hoses were OEM. Fuel pump is a Bosch made in Poland and the fuel filter is a Mahle, #KL82, made in Germany. I will have to re-check the fuel pump part number as I wrote down one number and the invoice has another number. Fuel pump box is at the shop.
