Not to say I officially encourage this, but you can hold the pressure switch closed and typically run them up a Lot higher. Amazing what another 40-50 psi will do for you. Make sure you have a fresh few drops of oil in the gun as well ..helps!

10 gal Harbor freight compressor.. sopposely 5.8 cfm at 90psi. Tops out at 125psi. I did bump it up to 100psi just to see if I could tap it harder but the nut wasn’t flinching
