300SE Trans Cold shift

Anyone have any slow 1-2 shift on the first shift of the day.

My 300SE can go a few blocks before making the shift then works fine.

Idling after start up for a few minutes helps, so it sounds as if maybe an accumulator is loosing a charge over night?

Can anyone confirm this and how big a job is it. ( If that's the problem at all.)
